TikToker Pham Thoai wrote on his personal page: "Thank you to the authorities for their timely, transparent and fair response. Pham Thoai also sincerely apologized to those who were accidentally caught up in this matter, even though they were not involved, but still suffered unnecessary impacts.

For the past 3 months, Pham Thoai has remained silent about the incident. Babyap's mother hid her social media account.
Previously, social networks were stirred up by the donation of tens of billions of VND that donors sent to Pham Thoai's account. As of February 24, 2025, this amount is up to 16.7 billion VND. Most of the money has been withdrawn from the account (according to Mrs. Buoc's public disclosure, there are still 55 million VND left).
On the evening of February 25, Pham Thoai livestreamed a statement of 16.7 billion VND on TikTok channel.
In front of hundreds of thousands of viewers, Pham Thoai publicly announced the invoices of a hospital in Singapore - where babyap is being treated. The process of receiving and withdrawing money with time frames was also posted.
TikToker and babyap's mother denied all rumors of embezzling charity money, and were ready to take responsibility if there were any violations.
On July 24, the Investigation Police Agency of Khanh Hoa Provincial Police announced the results of handling the criminal complaint of Mr. Nguyen Quoc Huy about the act of Abuse of trust to appropriate property that occurred in 2024 in Nho Lam village, Thuan Nam commune, Khanh Hoa province.
After receiving the complaint, Khanh Hoa Provincial Police conducted a verification of the incident.
The verification results show that from November 4, 2024 to April 16, 2025, Ms. Le Thi Thu Hoa used more than 20.4 billion VND to pay for hospital fees and living expenses for the mother and child during their treatment at hospitals in Singapore.
The above amount was taken from 3 campaign accounts that Hoa and Pham Van Thoai ( TikToker Pham Thoai) had called for and 1 billion VND that Pham Thoai transferred to Hoa from the Fund for Supporting People in Difficulty launched by Thoai.
The verification results showed that Ms. Hoa had posted correct information about her child's illness on social media to call for everyone to donate money for her child's treatment. Hoa used all the money raised to pay for hospital fees and expenses during the treatment of her child, not for other purposes.
