According to Warner Music Korea, Kpop girl group TWICE (Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Jihyo, Mina, Dahyun, Chaeyoung, Tzuyu) has added Korean parts to Coldplay's song "We pray" and released it as a new single.
Previously, on Wednesday, the 9-member girl group performed the opening performance at the British band's concert in Korea, with a series of hit songs as special guests. Notably, TWICE sang a joint song with Coldplay, including both English lyrics and Korean lyrics.
The original song "We pray" is included in Coldplay's 10th studio album "Moon Music", and the version "We pray (TWICE version)" was officially released on digital platforms on April 18.
The TWICE member shared: This is a song with a message of encouragement to overcome difficulties, sing about peace and hope. It is an honor to collaborate with Coldplay and it is even more meaningful when we can sing the song in Korean.
Meanwhile, Coldplay is on a global tour Music of the Spheres. In Korea, the British band will hold 6 concerts at Goyang Stadium, from April 16 to April 25.
TWICE was announced as the only K-pop guest to appear in all 6 of Coldplay's shows in Korea, before having another surprise appearance of Jin (BTS) in the show on April 19.
After 10 years of operation, TWICE is now considered the top girl group in Korea. The group's most recent album is the mini album "Strategy", released in December 2024.
With Strategy entering the Top 4 of the US Billboard 200 chart, TWICE has become the first Kpop girl group to have 6 different albums enter the Top 10 of the Billboard 200, TWICE is also the first girl group to enter the chart 8 times.
TWICE previously appeared on the Billboard 200 with the albums MORE & MORE, Eyes wide open, Taste of Love, Formula of Love: O+T=<3, BETWEEN 1&2, Ready To Be and With YOU-th.

Lollapalooza 2025 is scheduled to take place from July 31 to August 3 at Grant Park in Chicago, USA.
