MAMA is Asia's top music awards ceremony. MAMA 2024 (Mnet Asian Music Awards) will be the opening music awards ceremony for Korea's year-end awards season.
With the theme "Big Blur = WHAT IS REAL?", the entire awards ceremony will be organized into 3 main events. The first stage will take place at 10:00 on November 22 (Vietnam time) at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles (USA). This is the first time MAMA has crossed the border of Asia to come to the prestigious "cathedral" of the world entertainment industry.
The remaining two stages will be held at Kyocera Dome, Osaka (Japan) at 2:00 p.m. on November 22 and 11:00 a.m. on November 23 (Vietnam time).
Actor Park Bo Gum will host the awards ceremony in Los Angeles, while Korea's most sought-after young star, Kim Tae Ri, will host the event in Japan.
For the first time, MAMA is held in the United States with investment in both technology and art. The producer continues to express ambition to turn this top Asian Awards Ceremony into the "Korean Grammy".
The 2024 MAMA Awards will have a total of 21 award categories. The three prestigious Daesang awards will still be for Artist of the Year, Song of the Year, and Album of the Year. The organizers have announced a new award category for "Best Choreography".
Like previous years, MAMA 2024 will bring together the most famous artists in Korea. In particular, the news of the appearance of "Kpop king" G-Dragon after 9 years of absence on the MAMA stage is making fans restless. G-Dragon will perform on the last day of the awards ceremony.
