On November 22, at the headquarters of the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF), the 9th VFF Annual Congress 2024 (term 2022-2026) took place to evaluate the performance results in 2024 and decide on the direction and key tasks for work in 2025.
In an interview with the press regarding the financial report, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Vu - Vice President of VFF said: "In 2024, VFF's total revenue is 286 billion VND, expenditure is 284 billion VND and profit is about 2.3 billion VND. It is estimated that in 2025, the financial budget will be about 270 billion VND, expenditure is 266 billion VND and profit is about 4 billion VND".
According to Mr. Vu, next year, VFF will invest an additional 6.7 billion VND in the Vietnam national team, 16 billion VND in VAR and renovate the VFF office, all from FIFA's budget. In addition, there will be an additional investment of 7 billion VND for technical analysis tasks with support from AFC.
Regarding the content of the 2024 VFF Annual Congress, the Congress voted to approve the following contents: Report summarizing the work in 2024 and the direction of implementing tasks in 2025 of the VFF; Inspection report of the VFF Executive Committee; Report on evaluating the professional work of national football teams in 2024 and some key goals and tasks in 2025; Report on the organization of national professional football tournaments 2023-2024, 2024-2-25 and the expected plan for 2025-2026...
