On March 28, the Institute of International Training - Academy of Finance organized DDP Career Day Recruitment Day. The event is a bridge between schools and businesses, attracting hundreds of students to participate, thereby contributing to providing high-quality human resources in the fields of Finance, Banking, Accounting, Auditing and Recruitment.
Dr. Trinh Thanh Huyen, Director of the Institute of International Training, said that currently, rapid technological development has led to changes in skill requirements and career trends, making proactive choice, control and future orientation more urgent than ever.

This is an opportunity for businesses to access potential human resources, as well as an opportunity for students to learn, practice skills and have clearer career orientations in the future" - Dr. Trinh Thanh Huyen emphasized.
Within the framework of the festival, Mr. Nguyen Bao Long, Head of Community Development and Partnership Department of TopCV, shared many practical experiences, helping young people build effective application dossiers (CV).
Mr. Long said that students should not ignore part-time jobs such as serving, selling goods or mixing when writing CVs, because this is evidence of initiative and practical experience. When presenting, candidates need to clearly state the name of the unit, position and main tasks, and prioritize specific data on work performance instead of general descriptions. Drawing lessons about how to operate a business from these jobs is also highly appreciated.

Referring to the trend of using artificial intelligence, Mr. Long said that AI tools only play a role in supporting expression and presentation, while the core factor is still the actual ability of candidates. He recommends that students need to optimize keywords in CVs according to job descriptions to suit the automated screening system (ATS), and at the same time avoid using one CV for many different positions that require appropriate adjustments.
AI only helps you express and present more beautifully. Employers are most interested in the real ability you put into your CV" - Mr. Long said.
In addition, three important contents in a CV including career goals, experience and skills are also emphasized. Career goals need to clearly show development orientation, the value that candidates can bring to businesses as well as learning expectations. For students who do not have work experience, learning projects, projects or club activities can be used instead, with the requirement to clearly present roles and achievements. In the skills section, in addition to soft skills and foreign languages with specific certificates, the ability to use digital tools, including AI tools, is also a plus point.
In addition to the content factor, honesty is considered a mandatory requirement in the CV development process. According to Mr. Long, candidates should absolutely not provide information that violates the law such as forging documents, and all achievements should be accompanied by data or evidence to ensure reliability.
For students studying in liên kết or international programs, emphasizing the learning environment in English, adaptability as well as the graduation roadmap and related degrees will help increase competitive advantages in the labor market" - Mr. Long said.
