On the afternoon of January 20, at the Provincial Conference Center, the People's Committee of Bac Lieu province organized the program "Loving Tet - Spring of Learning Promotion" to celebrate the Party and the Spring of At Ty year 2025.
At the program, Mr. Pham Van Thieu - Chairman of Bac Lieu Provincial People's Committee - said that in recent years, the Party Committee, government and people in the province have always paid attention to education and training in general, and to promoting learning and talent, and building a learning society in particular.
In 2024, businesses and benefactors inside and outside the province contributed and supported the Provincial Education Promotion Fund with nearly 7 billion VND, awarded nearly 5,000 scholarships to poor students who overcome difficulties, donated bicycles, school supplies, etc.
In the coming time, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Lieu province requested all levels, sectors and localities to continue to consolidate and improve the organization of associations at all levels to ensure that the organization is increasingly strong and operates more and more effectively.
In particular, we need to take better care of the association's staff, regularly innovate content and methods, improve the quality of activities, and ensure a core role in the movement to mobilize the entire population to participate in promoting learning and talent, and building a learning society, especially in remote areas, ethnic minority areas, and places with many difficulties.
The program "Loving Tet - Spring of Learning" to celebrate the Party, celebrate the Spring of At Ty 2025, awarding 350 scholarships and gifts to students in difficult circumstances, overcoming difficulties to rise up and celebrate the New Year was held in Dong Hai district with 100 gifts worth 500,000 VND/gift and in Bac Lieu province, 250 scholarships were awarded (including 100 bicycles worth 2 million VND/bike and 150 scholarships worth 1 million VND/gift).
