The Ministry of Education and Training has just announced a correlation between the results of the 2025 high school graduation exam and the academic records of grade 12 students nationwide.
Considering high school graduation exam scores and high school transcript scores are two main university admission methods, used by many universities across the country in recent years.
According to the results of the Ministry of Education and Training, in all 12 subjects, the average score of the 3-year high school transcript is 0.12 - 2.26 points higher than the high school graduation exam score.
Of which, the Literature major has the lowest difference of about 0.12. Industrial Technology has the highest difference of 2.26. Next, there is a difference of 2.25 points in Math, 1.57 points in English compared to high school transcripts.


This is the first time the Ministry of Education and Training has announced the difference in scores between the results of the transcripts and the high school graduation exam scores of candidates. The announcement of this difference is the basis for schools to convert admission scores for all methods to a common scoring coefficient.
Candidates who wish to enter university will register and adjust their wishes unlimitedly on the general system of the Ministry of Education and Training from July 16 to 5:00 p.m. on July 28.
From July 29 to 5:00 p.m. on August 5, candidates will pay the admission fee according to their number of admission wishes online.
The university benchmark score was announced before 5:00 p.m. on August 22.
Before 5:30 p.m. on August 30, all admitted candidates (including direct admitted candidates) must confirm their admission on the system if they wish to study.
