The Ministry of Education and Training has just issued a document comparing the scores of some high school exam scores in 2025, high school academic scores.
The difference in the exam scores of the 7 combinations according to high school graduation exam scores includes: A00 (Math, Physics, Chemistry), A01 (Math, Physics, English), B00 (Math, Chemistry, Biology), C00 (Literature, History, Geography), D01 (Math, Literature, English), C01 (Math, Physics, Literature), D07 (Math, Chemistry, English).
This is the basis for candidates to refer to and for schools to refer to when building a standard score conversion table between methods and combinations.

For training institutions, the Ministry of Education and Training requires that, based on the comparison of general scores and classification of general scores for some traditional combinations using the results of high school graduation exams after being standardized, the guiding documents of the Ministry of Education and Training, the main subjects for admission of each major/group of majors, specific requirements of the major, school and statistics, evaluation of learning results in previous years, the training institution proactively develop and announce the conversion of the equivalent admission scores between admission combinations according to the plan.
In case the results of separate exams (capacity assessment, thinking assessment, etc.) and other methods are used, based on the announcement of the different positions of the units holding the separate exam, the training institution will determine the most suitable combination (the original combination, usually the combination with the highest correlation coefficient between the two exams) to convert to the results of the separate exam, without building a bridge relationship. Training institutions clearly notify candidates and strictly follow the admission process; at the same time, they are responsible for answering the conversion results equivalent to the admission score.
For example: For major X, the admission score based on the high school graduation exam results of the A00 group (original group) is 25/30 points, corresponding to the admission score of the separate exam of 75/120 points; if the admission score according to the B00 group is 24/30, this score will not continue to be used to determine the corresponding admission score of the separate exam.
In case of using high school results, based on statistical data on the correlation between the scores of high school graduation exams in 2025 and the average scores of high school subjects in Appendix III, the training institution will develop and announce the conversion equivalent to the admission score, entrance threshold for each program, major, group of majors or training field.
For training institutions that organize independent exams according to the comprehensive exam, the Ministry of Education and Training requires determining graduation exam subject combinations suitable to the characteristics of the separate exam organized by the training institution and recommends that other training institutions can use them, in which it is clarified which combination is most suitable to determine the original combination; guide and support training institutions in developing and converting admission scores.
In addition to the exchange rate table of the Ministry of Education and Training, previously, some universities have begun to announce a table of exam score differentiation between groups and admission methods.
For example, at Hanoi National University, a candidate with 27.75 points according to the D01 combination (Math, Literature, English) is evaluated at 30 points if considering the A00 combination (Math, Physics, Chemistry). Meanwhile, Hanoi University of Science and Technology added 0.5 points for candidates using the D01 combination compared to the remaining combinations.

Before 5:00 p.m. on July 28, candidates must register and adjust their university admission wishes, with no limit on the number of adjustments. Currently, schools are announcing the floor score and making a forecast of the standard score, along with the conversion classification table of exam scores - according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training, to be completed before 5:00 p.m. on July 23.
After completing the wish registration, candidates need to pay the admission fee online, from July 29 to 5:00 p.m. on August 5. Admission results, which are benchmark scores, will be announced by universities before 5:00 p.m. on August 22.
