On March 24, Ca Mau Provincial People's Committee issued a decision approving the 10th grade enrollment plan for the 2026-2027 school year in the area.
According to the plan, Phan Ngoc Hien High School for the Gifted enrolls no more than 350 students, Bac Lieu High School for the Gifted enrolls no more than 315 students with specialized classes in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Informatics, Literature, History, Geography and English.

Candidates take 3 common subjects: Literature, Mathematics, English and 1 specialized subject. The exam is expected to take place from June 26 to June 28, 2026; results will be announced on July 6, and re-examination will be completed before July 13, 2026.
For public high schools, continuing education schools and ethnic minority boarding schools, enrollment is in the form of admission.
In which, ethnic minority boarding schools enroll 145 students per school; dossiers are received directly or through the province's online Public Service Portal.
Mass 10th grade enrollment is carried out in 2 phases: phase 1 from June 18 to July 16, 2026, results announced on July 18; phase 2 from July 19 to July 24, 2026, results announced on July 27, 2026.
The plan also stipulates no enrollment fees; and fully implements priority and incentive regimes according to regulations, creating favorable conditions for students to participate in enrollment.
