Accordingly, the general 10th grade enrollment time is as follows: enrollment registration from May 1, 2026 – May 20, 2026; announcement of direct admission list on May 30, 2026; entrance exam from June 23, 2026 – June 24, 2026.
The time to announce exam scores and expected benchmark scores is no later than July 10, 2026. The time to announce the re-examination scores and official benchmark scores is no later than July 17, 2026.
Regarding the announcement time for enrollment results, for public schools it is July 25, 2026 (for schools enrolling by exam method) and July 31, 2026 (for schools enrolling by admission method). For private schools, the announcement time for enrollment results is July 31, 2026.
Regarding enrollment into 10th grade of Ha Long Specialized High School, enrollment registration from May 1, 2026 to May 20, 2026; enrollment exam time from June 23, 2026 to June 25, 2026.

Previously, the Department of Education and Training of Quang Ninh province requested schools to collect opinions from 9th grade students and parents about the time for the 10th grade entrance exam.
According to the plan from the beginning of the school year, the 10th grade entrance exam for the 2026–2027 school year in Quang Ninh is expected to take place from July 03–05, 2026. However, there is a change in the time so as not to affect the high school exam, the Quang Ninh Department of Education and Training requests schools to get opinions from 9th grade students and parents about the time when the 10th grade entrance exam can be organized.
There are two expected timelines for students and parents to choose: from May 27-29, 2026 and from June 23-25, 2026.
