The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training has announced the benchmark scores for grade 10 of 109 public high schools in the 2025-2026 school year.
According to the department's plan, successful candidates must confirm online admission to high school at: https://ts10.hcm.edu.vn before 4:00 p.m. on July 1.
From July 3 to July 10, candidates admitted in all types including specialized and integrated subjects and grade 10 students often carry out direct admission procedures at high schools that have been confirmed through the online system.
In case parents and students do not complete the admission procedures, candidates will be considered to be eliminated from the admission list.
It is expected that on July 11, the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City will announce the results of the review. From July 12-14, the Department will conduct additional admission for successful cases after the final round.
From July 15 to before 5:00 p.m. on July 17, students who are admitted for additional admission will submit their applications at high schools.
On July 22, depending on the situation of successful students submitting applications to high schools, the Department will report the needs and number of additional admissions (if any).
In 2024, Ho Chi Minh City will have 36 high schools recruiting more than 2,200 additional quotas. As a result, 1,400 candidates were admitted.
Conditions for participating in the 2024 supplementary draft:
Students who are not admitted to public high schools and must have an entrance exam score of 3 subjects: Math + Literature + Foreign Language + priority score (if any) greater than or equal to the standard score of the public high school's wish point 3 to register for admission.
For students who have studied at secondary schools in the regions (Can Gio, Nha Be, Binh Chanh, Hoc Mon, Cu Chi and Thu Duc City), if they register at schools in the same area as the secondary school, the total admission exam score of the candidate will be considered according to the 1 wish standard score of the public high school that wants to register for admission.
Thu Duc City is divided into 3 areas, of which KV1 includes schools in the old District 2, KV2 includes schools in the old District 9 and KV3 includes schools in the old Thu Duc City.
Each student can only register for additional admission to 1 public high school that has not yet enrolled in accordance with the assigned quota and cannot change schools when the supplementary admission application has been submitted.
Students who wish to enroll additional students must submit documents directly to high school, including a report on the results of the 10th entrance exam issued by the junior high school and a red carpet.
Admission form, based on the remaining admission quota, the total score of 3 subjects: Math + Literature + Foreign Language + priority score (if any) to determine the candidate who will be admitted for additional admission. Additional admission scores are from high to low until the quota is met.
