In 2025, Hanoi Medical University will maintain stable admission methods, including: Direct admission; admission based on high school graduation exam scores; admission combining graduation exam scores with international language certificates; admission based on Hanoi National University's competency assessment test scores.
The school plans to recruit new students in the fields of Medical Imaging Technology and Social Work because it believes that the demand for human resources in these two fields is increasing.
Regarding the admission combination, Associate Professor Dr. Le Dinh Tung - Vice Principal of the school - informed that the school will likely have to make adjustments if the current draft admission regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training are approved. Because the Ministry expects schools to convert to a common score scale between the combination and admission methods.
At the University of Medicine and Pharmacy (Hue University), the three expected admission methods in 2025 include: Considering high school graduation exam scores; considering a combination of high school graduation exam scores and English certificates; and direct admission. Of which, the combined admission method only applies to the majors of Medicine, Dentistry, and Pharmacy.
The total expected enrollment target is nearly 1,700 students in 2025. A notable new point is that Block A02 (Math, Physics, Biology) is used for the first time to enroll many majors such as: Preventive Medicine, Traditional Medicine, Nursing, Midwifery... Pharmacy for the first time enrolls Block D07 (Math, Chemistry, English).
The school also recruits students based on block B08 (Math, Biology, English) with 4 majors: Medicine, Dentistry, Traditional Medicine, and Medical Imaging Technology.
Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine has also announced its expected enrollment plan for 2025, including: Considering competency test scores; considering thinking test scores; considering international certificates or combining certificates with high school graduation exam scores; direct admission according to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training; considering admission based on high school graduation exam scores.
The admission combinations based on the 2025 high school graduation exam scores remain the same, including B00 (Math, Chemistry, Biology), A00 (Math, Physics, Chemistry), B03 (Math, Biology, Literature). The school removes the secondary criteria for the Foreign Language exam scores.
From 2025, Gia Dinh University also plans to open more health majors such as Dentistry, Nursing, and Rehabilitation Technology.
Candidates can choose one of three admission methods: Considering the results of the 2025 high school graduation exam; considering the results of the high school transcript (according to the 2025 admission regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training); considering the results of the 2025 Ho Chi Minh City National University's capacity assessment exam.
