Le Minh Khoi - Principal of the general admission method
With 97.84/100 points, Le Minh Khoi - a former student of Nguyen Trai High School (Khanh Hoa) - became the valedictorian of the comprehensive admission method of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology.
Khoi scored 1,112 points in the Ho Chi Minh City National University's competency assessment test and 27.25 points in the high school exam (three absolute points of 10 in Math and Physics).
Khoi believes that "learning from mistakes" is the fastest way to progress. I see each mistake as an opportunity to review my knowledge. To avoid overload, Khoi always has a clear study plan, balancing the test and consolidating theory.
Khoi's passion for technology began in grade 10, when he wrote the first phan of Python himself. "The feeling when the program is successful makes me know I want to pursue Computer Science seriously," Khoi shared.

Mai Quang Minh Tri - Head of the competency assessment exam
Coming from Quoc Hoc High School for the Gifted - Hue, Mai Quang Minh Tri achieved 1,122 National High School Grants, the highest among the candidates admitted to Ho Chi Minh City University of Science and Technology this year.
Tri is also the runner-up of the comprehensive admission method with 97.24 points. In the high school exam, the male student achieved 27.25 points in the A01 block.
Passionate about Math since childhood, Tri always wanted to conquer absolute points. After the first National High School Graduation Exam achieved 1,047 points, he was determined to retake the exam and win all 300 points in Math.
"If you have more opportunities, why not try? ", Tri said. Although he had failed the national 11th grade excellent student award, Tri was not discouraged but chose to consolidate comprehensive knowledge to take the National High School Graduation exam and graduate. The male student believes that solid high school education is the key to success in both exams.
Lam Minh Huy - valedictorian of the highest high school graduation exam scores
Former student of Luong Van Chanh High School for the Gifted (Dak Lak), Lam Minh Huy impressed with 29.75 points in the A00 block, becoming the National Ac Thy si and valedictorian of Dak Lak province. Huy also achieved 1,01 points for NLDNL, standing out with an absolute score of 300 in the Scientific Thinking section.
Huy shared that his secret to learning is "slow but steady". I do not study many subjects at once but focus on grasping each part of my knowledge. The male student always knows how to balance between studying and entertainment to keep a comfortable spirit.
For Huy, building a reasonable plan, allocating goals for each stage helps reduce pressure and achieve high efficiency. In Physics, Huy set a goal of winning a scholarship and participating in research projects to improve his skills.
Vo Truong Gia Huan - valedictorian of the highest high school graduation exam scores
Vo Truong Gia Huan (Ca Mau) achieved 29.75 points for A00 (Math, Physics; Chemistry 9.75), and became the valedictorian of the province and National Ph.D. Huan also scored 931 points for NLD.
Gia Huan revealed that he always starts with basic knowledge, then does many test sessions to slow down, and synthesizes mistakes to avoid repeating themselves.
" there is pressure, but it helps me concentrate more," Huan said. Initially, his family oriented him to major in the military, but the male student decided to choose the Electrical - Electronics field with the desire to pursue a degree in microchip Design.
The University of Technology said that this year's admission session recorded nearly 48% of candidates achieving a score of 900 points in the National High School Exam. Nearly 21% of candidates have both a high school graduation exam score of 27 and a high school graduation exam score of 900 points. About 3,300 candidates with a qualified English certificate (equivalent to IELTS Academic from 5.0 or higher) are converted to 8-10 English points in both high school graduation exam scores and high school academic scores.
Ho Chi Minh City continues to lead in the admission rate with more than 3,500 students, with Mac Dinh Chi High School at the top of the list.
