She is currently a final year student majoring in International Communications at the Faculty of Communication and Foreign Culture, Diplomatic Academy.
In addition to her good academic achievements with an average score of 3.75/4.0, fluent in basic English and Chinese, My Linh also participates in many extracurricular activities, is an intern, and collaborators at many press agencies.
My Linh was also the 2nd Runner-up of the Miss DAV 2023 contest.
Unforgettable moments in life
Sharing with Lao Dong, My Linh said that this was the first time she had the opportunity to represent the young generation of Vietnam to present flowers and send wishes to the head of state when he had a state visit to Vietnam.
"Remembering the moment I received the invitation to participate from the Department of New State Ceremonies and Foreign guarantees, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, I was extremely surprised to be the chosen one. And I can't help but worry because this is an important political - foreign event of the country" - she recounted.
Linh shared that for nearly 5 days, she had focused and carefully prepared, from her outfit to each gesture, speech... "I spent time practicing how to bend and walk; how to hold and lift flowers; as well as learning each Chinese sentence" - she said and expressed her gratitude for the help and enthusiastic guidance of the teachers and staff in the Department of State New Ceremonies and Foreign Affairs Interpretery, Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
At Noi Bai airport on the afternoon of April 15, around the resounding ceremony drum, the leaders and high-ranking delegations of the two countries stepped onto the red carpet towards the plane, along with intimate exchanges between Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and General Secretary and President of China Xi Jinping - those were unforgettable moments, I expressed.

Linh shared: "During the entire ceremony, I felt moved, honored and proud to be able to contribute my small part in leaving a beautiful impression of the country and people of Vietnam in the eyes of international friends".
In particular, I myself are aware of the responsibility of the younger generation in fostering and developing good friendship, "both comrades and brothers" of the two countries of Vietnam - China, in accordance with the statements of the General Secretary, the President of China Xi Jinping on the recent visit: "All the roots, the blood vessels and the power of the two parties, the two countries are in the people of the people."
Opportunities to practice knowledge from university lectures
My Linh said that the learning environment at the Diplomatic Academy is unique and affects the way she perceives and prepares for events like the recent one. At school, he has access to subjects such as Diplomatic Work, Foreign Information or Cultural Diplomatic Work... thereby, he is not only equipped with important knowledge about International Politics and Diplomatic Work, but also helps him understand more deeply about body language; how to communicate, behave; handle situations at foreign events.
In addition, during her studies at school, My Linh had the opportunity to participate in simulation activities; programs, conferences, events of an outstanding nature... to help herself practice confidence and necessary skills.
"Thanks to that, whether it was the first time I participated in welcoming or sending off heads of state to visit Vietnam, I was able to complete the assigned tasks well" - My Linh expressed.
