According to Decision 2045/QD-BGDDT in 2024 on the 2024-2025 school year time plan framework for preschool education, general education and continuing education issued by the Minister of Education and Training, holidays and Tet are implemented according to the provisions of the Labor Code and annual guidance documents.
According to the above regulations, on the occasion of Lunar New Year 2025, students will have a holiday depending on the regulations in each locality. Below is detailed information about the Lunar New Year 2025 holiday schedule for students in some provinces and cities:
36. Thanh Hoa:
Thanh Hoa Department of Education and Training said that during the Lunar New Year holiday (At Ty 2025), students and preschool children at preschools, general education and continuing education facilities in the province will have 10 days off from school.
Accordingly, students and preschool children at preschool, general education and continuing education institutions in the province will be off from Wednesday, January 22, 2025 (ie December 23, Giap Thin year) to Sunday, February 2, 2025 (ie January 5, At Ty year).
Students return to school on Monday, February 3, 2025 (January 6, At Ty year).
37. Ben Tre:
On the occasion of Lunar New Year 2025, Ben Tre students will have a holiday from January 25, 2025 (December 26 of the Lunar calendar) to February 4, 2025 (January 7 of the Year of the Snake), a total of 11 days.
38. Tien Giang:
Students of kindergartens, primary schools, secondary schools, high schools and continuing education centers will start the Lunar New Year holiday from Thursday, January 23, 2025 (December 24, lunar calendar, year of Giap Thin 2024) to Sunday, February 2, 2025 (January 5, lunar calendar, year of At Ty 2025).
