Hoài Luân |

Binh Dinh - On May 7, Chairman of Binh Dinh Province Pham Anh Tuan directed the Department of Education and Training, the Provincial Police and localities to rectify the situation of school violence.

Recently, incidents of students forming groups on social networks to attack, create conflicts and attract people to participate in violence have seriously affected the educational environment, raising public outrage.

The People's Committee of Binh Dinh province has received reports on school violence cases occurring among female secondary school students in Phu Cat district and An Nhon town. However, reports from localities have only stopped at reporting the incident, not clarifying the cause, not taking measures to prevent, rectify and strictly handle students who violate.

At the same time, there are remedial measures and strict disciplinary action against collectives and individuals related to the incident.

The Chairman of the People's Committee of Binh Dinh province also requested the Department of Education and Training and localities to direct educational institutions to strengthen moral and lifestyle education for students; develop and promulgate codes of conduct in schools, apply strict disciplinary measures for violations.

Strengthen the responsibility of managers, teachers, and staff in managing, preventing, detecting, and promptly preventing school violence.

Mr. Pham Anh Tuan assigned the Provincial Police to direct affiliated units to investigate and strictly handle acts of school violence.

As Lao Dong reported, in less than a month, in Binh Dinh province, there have been consecutive cases of students being beaten by group friends, filming clips and posting them on social networks, causing public outrage.

On the afternoon of April 12, at the land at the foot of De Gi bridge (Cat Khanh commune, Phu Cat district), N.T.T.H (a 7th grade student at My Thanh Secondary School, Phu My district) was brutally beaten by a group of female students including L.T.D.T (in the same school as H); V.T.Q.N (a 8th grade student at Cat Thanh Secondary School, Phu Cat district) and D.T.A.T (who had dropped out of school), using a helmet with both hands and feet.

On the afternoon of April 19, a clip was circulated on social media recording the scene of N.P.K.V (grade 8 student at Binh Dinh Ward Secondary School) being brutally beaten by L.B.A.N (grade 9 at Dap Da Ward Secondary School) and D.T.D.A (grade 8 at Binh Dinh Ward Secondary School) in the middle of an empty lot in the new An Nhon market area (Binh Dinh Ward, An Nhon Town). The person standing outside to stir up and film the clip was N.B.Tr (class 9 at Binh Dinh Ward Secondary School).

At noon on April 16, at a snail restaurant in Nhon Hanh commune (An Nhon town), T.A.M (a 8th grade student at Nhon Hanh Secondary School) was beaten by N.K.L (a 11A1 class student at Hoa Binh High School, An Nhon town) in the presence of many students.

Most recently, on the afternoon of May 5, L.V.K (an 8th grade student at Phuoc Hung Secondary School, Tuy Phuoc District) was cursed by a young man, who used his hands and objects to repeatedly hit him in the head and face. Faced with the opponent's aggression, K could only bend his head and endure the blow, not daring to resist.
