On June 23, news from the Department of Education and Training of Khanh Hoa province said that it has requested localities to review and assess the current situation of facilities and teaching equipment at educational institutions managed by localities to prepare for the 2026 - 2027 school year.
Accordingly, localities need to proactively adjust, arrange, and arrange appropriate facilities to improve usage efficiency; determine the needs for new construction, repair, and renovation of classrooms, functional rooms..., for boarding and semi-boarding students.
Localities are required to review and purchase sufficient minimum teaching equipment according to regulations, ensuring conditions for implementing the 2018 General Education Program, STEM education and practical and experimental activities in schools.
According to Vice Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Long Bien, the locality sets a goal that by 2030 Khanh Hoa education will be in the top 15 leading provinces and cities in the country.
By 2045, it will become a center for training high-quality human resources in fields such as renewable energy, digital transformation, and healthcare.
To achieve this goal, the province identifies key groups of solutions including institutional innovation, improving the quality of the teaching staff, promoting digital transformation, developing vocational and university education, and expanding international cooperation.
