Preschool teacher wins first prize in Vietnam Pride contest

Lam Dong - Teacher Ngoc Anh has been involved in preschool education for nearly 15 years, always a shining example of love for her job and children.

On April 28, Mr. Hong Viet Trung - Head of the Department of Education and Training of Bao Lam district (Lam Dong province) - said: The unit has proposed the District Emulation and Reward Council to suddenly reward teacher Vo Thi Ngoc Anh, a teacher at Sao Mai Kindergarten (Loc Ngai commune), for her outstanding achievements in winning the First Prize in the online contest "Proud of Vietnam".

The "Proud of Vietnam" contest is jointly organized by the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee, the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, taking place from March 8 to March 29.

The contest focuses on the history of Vietnam from 1945 to present, emphasizing the leadership role of the Communist Party of Vietnam in the cause of building, protecting and developing the country, along with important historical events in the journey to gain independence and national reunification.

With a profound message, the contest is not only a playground for knowledge but also a journey to spread patriotism, fostering revolutionary ideals for today's and future generations.

After only three weeks of implementation, the contest has attracted more than 1.5 million registered participants, with over 3 million contestants. Of which, more than 1.2 million were contestants on the website "Reporter" of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee and more than 1.8 million were contestants on the mobile application "Vietnam Youth" of the Central Youth Union.

The organizing committee selected and awarded prizes to 10 outstanding collectives and 48 individuals. Among them, teacher Vo Thi Ngoc Anh (teacher at Sao Mai Kindergarten) and Ms. Diep Phuong Khanh (lecturer at Da Lat College of Tourism) excellently won the first prize.

According to Ms. Dang Thi Duyen - Principal of Sao Mai Kindergarten, Ms. Ngoc Anh, with nearly 15 years of her career in preschool education, is always a shining example of love for her job and children. Ms. Anh constantly strives to self-study, innovate in teaching and achieve many high achievements such as many consecutive years of achieving the title of Emulation Fighter at the grassroots level, excellent teacher at school and district levels.

"This is a great honor not only for Ms. Ngoc Anh personally but also for the common pride of all staff, teachers, staff and students of Sao Mai Kindergarten. This achievement will also give the school more motivation to continue to strive and contribute to the cause of local education," Ms. Dang Thi Duyen shared.
