On the night of March 29, the final round of the 2025 Kien Giang Province Civil Servants, Public Employees, and Workers' Charm Competition took place enthusiastically with the participation of 29 contestants who are female union officials and union members from grassroots unions in Kien Giang province.
Ms. Truong Thanh Thuy - President of the Kien Giang Provincial Federation of Labor said that the contest was organized by the Kien Giang Provincial Federation of Labor in coordination with the Radio and Television Station, to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the complete Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025). This is an activity to honor the physical beauty, knowledge, talent, and charm of female civil servants, public employees, and workers, contributing to orienting the standard beauty of Vietnamese women in the new era.
"At the same time, it is also a healthy beauty playground for contestants to cultivate and learn from each other's experiences in work and life, express their understanding, talent, beauty and solidarity, together create a joyful and exciting atmosphere, inspiring union members and employees to become increasingly attached and participate more in the activities of the Trade Union organization and the cultural and artistic movement", Ms. Thuy emphasized.
According to the Organizing Committee, the contest will officially launch from January 17, 2025 in agencies, units, and enterprises with trade unions in Kien Giang province. Through the launching and communication period until February 20, 2025, 66 candidates from grassroots trade unions under the Labor Federations of districts, cities, industry unions, grassroots trade unions under the Provincial Federation of Labor and the Trade Union of Industrial and Commercial Bankes, Kien Giang Branch, and the Trade Union of Kien Giang University attended. The Organizing Committee selected 29 contestants to participate in the preliminary round.
The contestants competed in 4 rounds, including: Office costume performance; talent competition showing special talents in singing, dancing, presenting, singing poetry...; ao dai performance; evening gown performance.
In the end, contestant Dang Thi Hong Cam - Trade Union of Hong Bang Primary School in Rach Gia City excellently won the Miss award. The Organizing Committee also awarded 1st, 2nd, 3rd Runner-up prizes and the Ao Dai Beauty, Office, Talent, and capacity prizes to the contestants.
