The University also plays a pioneering role in promoting international integration in education, contributing to enhancing Vietnam's position on the global education map.
"The university model is an internal governance model that aims for multidisciplinary development. In the future development orientation, the National Economics University needs to aim for a reasonable multidisciplinary structure, multidisciplinary but still promoting advantages, strengths and traditional strengths.
It is necessary to stand firmly on traditional strengths, specialties and uniqueness, expand in the direction of related industries and support each other into a system, multi-industry in the most reasonable way on the basis of maintaining identity and prestige. Multi-industry does not mean that we do everything that others do.
In particular, we should not stray from our main goals and missions. The school's identity and brand need to continue and be promoted in the new organizational model," said Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Kim Son.
Prof. Dr. Pham Hong Chuong - Director of National Economics University - shared: "The transition to the university model today is an affirmation of the school's position in higher education in Vietnam.
In recent years, the school has pioneered digital transformation, in-depth investment, and application of information technology in management, teaching, and scientific research. The Director of the National Economics University said that, moving towards a new stage, in the spirit of promoting core values, the school continues to focus on comprehensive development in the areas of teaching, scientific research and international cooperation.
New training programs will continue to be implemented, ensuring progress, keeping up with internationalization trends and being suitable for practical needs. The combination of scientific research and practical application will be enhanced, contributing to solving socio-economic problems, especially in the context of digital transformation and increasingly deep international integration.
"In the era of the 4.0 industrial revolution, the school is well aware of its pioneering role in researching and applying new technologies in teaching and management.
From applying artificial intelligence, big data to developing online learning models, we are constantly innovating to bring the best learning experiences to students. This not only helps students improve their competitiveness but also contributes positively to the socio-economic development of the country" - Dr. Pham Hong Chuong emphasized.
