On March 9, Can Tho University said that in 3 days, March 6, 7 and 8, the unit successfully organized the 2nd phase of the V-SAT exam in 2026. The exam assesses candidates' abilities in a modern and objective direction, with 8 independent exam subjects including: Mathematics, Literature, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, History, Geography and English.
This exam session attracted 7,682 candidates with more than 17,000 exam sessions. The exam results will be widely used at many universities such as Can Tho University, Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Dong Thap University, Tien Giang University, Tra Vinh University, Bac Lieu University, Kien Giang University, Branch of the University of Economics in Vinh Long, Nam Can Tho University, Tay Do University.
According to the plan, in 2026, Can Tho University will organize 7 V-SAT exam phases and implement them throughout from January to July, in order to create maximum favorable conditions for candidates to proactively choose exam times suitable for their study and admission plans. A new and special point of this year's V-SAT exam is that there are 2 exam phases taking place after the high school graduation exam.
According to the school, the data analysis results of the 2025 V-SAT exam have affirmed the reliability and measurement value of the V-SAT exam paper. At the same time, it proves the objectivity in the organization and grading process.
On that basis, Can Tho University and exam organizing schools will coordinate with the National Center for Testing and Education Quality Assessment to continue to improve the matrix of questions, expand the sample size and strengthen analysis according to the IRT model to improve the reliability of the assessment results.
