The exam takes place from April 6 to 10, attracting 90 delegations with more than 660 students from universities and academies across the country. The event continues to affirm itself as a prestigious academic forum in the field of Mathematics.
The exam is chaired by the Vietnam Mathematical Society, in coordination with training institutions, under the patronage of the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations and the Central Vietnam Student Association.
The exam aims to discover and nurture mathematical talents, create an environment for students to train thinking, improve analytical capacity and connect young research communities.
The Quy Nhon University team had 6 students taking the exam, of which 4 candidates took both algebra and calculus subjects. As a result, the team won 3 second prizes and 5 third prizes.
According to the Organizing Committee, this year's exam continues to develop in both scale and quality. A total of 306 official prizes were awarded in 2 subjects. In which, Algebra has 27 first prizes, 52 second prizes, 78 third prizes; Analysis has 25 first prizes, 52 second prizes, 72 third prizes. In addition, there are 75 consolation prizes.
Maintaining the annual organization and attracting a large number of students to participate shows the increasing prestige and spread of the exam in the higher education system.
It is expected that the 33rd National Student and Student Mathematical Olympiad - 2027 will be held at Quang Nam University.
