On September 30, Quy Nhon University held a ceremony to announce and hand over the Decision to recognize the Principal for the 2025 - 2030 term. This is an important event, marking a new step in the development of the School's leadership team.
From July 1, 2024, Associate Professor, Dr. Doan Duc Tung will hold the position of Principal of Quy Nhon University for the 2020 - 2025 term. In the past time, he and the leadership have implemented many important development policies and orientations, contributing to enhancing the reputation and brand of the School in many fields.
At the ceremony, Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Van Phuc - Deputy Minister of Education and Training (MOET) presented the Decision to recognize Associate Professor, Dr. Doan Duc Tung to hold the position of Principal of Quy Nhon University for the 2025 - 2030 term.
Congratulate Principal and Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Phuc on recognizing the trust of the Party Committee and the school as well as the trust of the Ministry of Education and Training in assigning this important responsibility.
The Deputy Minister emphasized that after nearly half a century of construction and development, Quy Nhon University has become a multi-disciplinary, multi-disciplinary higher education institution, especially with strengths in pedagogical and natural science training.
The school has affirmed its position in the Vietnamese higher education system, making important contributions to the cause of training, scientific research and technology transfer in the Central Highlands Coastal region. In particular, the school is one of 14 key educational institutions planned by the Prime Minister in the national teacher training network for the period 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050.
The Deputy Minister hopes that Associate Professor, Dr. Doan Duc Tung will continue to promote the spirit of innovation, together with the collective leadership to build Quy Nhon University into a typical higher education institution.
Speaking at the ceremony, Associate Professor, Dr. Doan Duc Tung affirmed that he will devote himself to the sustainable development of the School. In the 2025 - 2030 term, the school will promote the achieved achievements, innovation in management, determination in operation, closely following reality, aiming to successfully implement the university autonomy roadmap, continuing to affirm its prestige and position in the higher education system.
