On June 1st, Phu Yen Ethnic Minority Boarding High School (PTDTNT) (Tuy Hoa ward, Dak Lak province) informed that the Organizing Committee of the "Luong Van Chanh joins hands with the community" program has provided support to 181 ethnic minority candidates who registered to take the 10th grade entrance exam of the school.
Each candidate is supported with a meal worth 150,000 VND, with a total budget of more than 27 million VND.
This is a program implemented by generations of alumni of Luong Van Chanh High School for the Gifted in coordination with philanthropists and the community to support students in difficult circumstances during the exam season.
Ms. Tran Thi Thanh Thu - Vice Principal of Phu Yen Ethnic Minority Boarding High School expressed her gratitude for the attention and sharing of the Organizing Committee for the school's students.
Free meals not only support them materially but are also a great source of spiritual encouragement, helping them to be more confident and steadfast to complete the upcoming exam well," Ms. Thu added.
In addition to supporting meals, the program also supports exam fees for candidates in difficult circumstances, from poor and near-poor households, and disabled students registering for the 10th grade entrance exam to Luong Van Chanh High School for the Gifted.
At the exam sites including Nguyen Du Specialized High School (Tan An ward), N'Trang Long Ethnic Minority Boarding High School (Thanh Nhat ward), Dam San Ethnic Minority Boarding High School (Ea Drong commune) and Phu Yen Ethnic Minority Boarding High School, hundreds of volunteers also participated in supporting the exam season.
Thousands of bottles of drinking water, milk boxes, bread and many other necessities have been prepared to support candidates and their families throughout the exam period.
The entrance exam to 10th grade in the 2026-2027 school year in Dak Lak is only for 5 specialized high schools. The remaining public high schools will consider admission.
According to statistics, the number of candidates registered to take the exam at 5 schools, specifically: Nguyen Du Specialized High School: 1. 317 candidates. Luong Van Chanh Specialized High School: 928 candidates. N'Trang Long Ethnic Minority Boarding High School: 463 candidates. Dam San Ethnic Minority Boarding High School: 423 candidates and Phu Yen Ethnic Minority Boarding High School: 181 candidates.
