The Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee has assigned the Department of Education and Training to preside over the drafting of a decision on regulations for extra teaching and learning. The draft must be completed and submitted to the Provincial People's Committee in March 2025 for approval.
While waiting for the new regulations, the Department of Education and Training requires schools to carefully study Circular 29 of the Ministry of Education and Training, and disseminate the content to staff, teachers, students and parents.
Schools must also review and adjust teaching plans in accordance with reality to improve the quality of education.
At the same time, it is necessary to refund fees related to extra teaching and learning for students corresponding to the period of time not yet implemented and ensure full payment of fees for extra teachers and tax obligations according to regulations.
Previously, Lao Dong Newspaper reported that many people in Buon Ma Thuot city went to register for extra teaching business before Circular 29 of the Ministry of Education and Training took effect.

Circular 29 has 8 new points compared to current regulations. In which, organizations and individuals who teach extra classes are required to register for business.
Teachers who are teaching at schools are not allowed to teach extra classes and collect money from the students that the teacher is teaching.
