In 2025, the University of Commerce will consider admission with a foreign language certificate/international exam certificate that is still valid with high school academic results ( Backup score). In which, the compulsory academic transcript admission score includes Math and the remaining subjects in the group.
In which, the score for each subject is determined as the average score for the 10, 11, and 12 grades of that subject.
Add 0.5 points for candidates studying at a high school with a national focus. For candidates with an IELTS international English certificate from 5.0 or TOEFL iBT from 45 or TOEIC (4 skills: L&R 440, S 240 &W 240) or higher, the conversion rate will be 10 points.
For the Business Administration major (Advanced training program, TM45 admission code), candidates must achieve IELTS 5.5 or equivalent foreign language certificates or higher.

In the combined admission method, the University of Economics, Vietnam National University, Hanoi stipulates that candidates use conversion scores from international English certificates combined with the average learning results of 6 semesters of high school for the remaining 2 subjects in the 4 admission combinations (Block D01 includes: Math, Literature; Block A01 includes: Math, Physics; Block D09 includes: Math, History and Block D10 includes: Math, Geography)
However, candidates must meet 1 of the 2 conditions for the results of the 2025 high school graduation exam. In which, candidates need to achieve a minimum of 8 points in Math in the 2025 high school graduation exam. At the same time, the scores of the two subjects (Math, Literature) will reach a minimum of 15 points in the 2025 high school graduation exam.
Candidates using an IELTS certificate of 5.5 or higher or TOEFL iBT of 72 or higher, the specific conversion score table is as follows:

Meanwhile, Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics reserves 40 - 50% of its quota for the admission method for candidates with good academic results. Admission scores are converted from 5 criteria, including 1 mandatory criterion and 4 non-mandatory criteria.
The mandatory criterion is the average score of the subject group for admission in grades 10, 11 and 12 from 6.5 points or higher.
One of the non-compliant criteria is that students have a valid international English certificate (as of the date of application submission) equivalent to IELTS from 6.0 or TOEFL iBT from 73 or higher.
In the 4 admission methods, candidates need to meet the following requirements to be admitted to the combined admission method based on an international English certificate combined with the learning results ( tureas) of the remaining 2 subjects in the admission combination at the University of Electricity:
Candidates need to have an IELTS or TOEFL iBT international English certificate for 2 years until July 20, 2025.
Candidates will use the results of the entire year of grades 10, 11, and 12 of the remaining 2 subjects according to the admission combination.
In which, the admission conditions are clearly regulated:
International English certificate score of IELTS 5.0 or TOEFL iBT of 35 points or higher. In addition, candidates with a total admission score including international English certificate scores and the remaining 2 subjects in the admission combination are not lower than 18 points/30 points and priority points (if any).

In the admission method based on the results of the 2025 high school graduation exam, the University of Technology, Vietnam National University, Hanoi applies to candidates with high school graduation exam scores in 2025 reaching the entrance threshold prescribed by the school for each major. This method is applied to all 2025 enrollment training majors of the School, with admission combinations such as A00, A01, X26, X06, B00.
In particular, candidates with an international English certificate (I IELTS Academic or TOEFL iBT) with a validity period of 2 years from the exam date will be converted to English subject scores for use in the admission combination.
