Golden" imprint named youthfulness

Each mark of Vietnamese people is a testament to the strength of the nation. Today's young generation is continuing that journey with knowledge and a desire to contribute.

Courage in the international arena

Overcoming nearly 200 contestants from more than 40 countries, Nguyen Nhat Anh - a 12th grade student specializing in Physics, Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted (Da Nang) - excellently won the prestigious Gold Medal (HCV) at the 10th European Physics Olympiad (EuPhO) in 2026.

Behind the prestigious gold medal is a persistent journey. Nhat Anh went through two competitive selection rounds, more than three months of focusing on studying in Hanoi and nearly 100 hours of practice in the laboratory. Continuous study hours in the laboratory helped the male student achieve the highest practice score in the team at this year's exam.

For Nhat Anh, the medal is not the final destination. The male student's desire is to continue pursuing the path of basic physics research, learning from advanced scientific achievements and then bringing knowledge back to contribute to the Fatherland.

In my opinion, the country in the future will be built by today's young generation. Therefore, each young person needs to constantly learn and develop themselves to create new values for the community and for the country" - Nhat Anh smiled.

Brave leader

In highland villages, where conditions are still very poor, young cadres who dare to think and dare to do are becoming the support of the community. Mua A Thi - Village Head of Hang Pu Xi (Xa Dung commune, Dien Bien province) - is one of such young cadres.

In early August 2025, heavy rain caused flash floods and terrible landslides in Hang Pu Xi village. In the most dangerous moment, thanks to decisiveness, village chief Mua A Thi rescued 90 people from the "lutch of death" in the terrible flash flood.

But what makes Mua A Thi's mark does not stop at the urgent moments. In the land nestled between dangerous mountainsides, where poverty surrounds them like cushions, young Mua A Thi is always concerned about finding new directions to improve livelihoods for people.

Instead of continuing to cultivate cassava with low efficiency, Mua A Thi chose to develop coffee trees. Without words, he did it first on his family's own land. When the first coffee trees brought stable income, people began to change their minds. From a few households following suit, the coffee area in the village expanded more and more, opening up a more sustainable economic development direction.

Currently, the Commune Committee will coordinate with businesses to guarantee output for people. We are mobilizing people to completely stop growing cassava and corn to switch to growing industrial crops with higher economic value, thereby ensuring livelihoods for people in the village" - Mr. Mua A Thi said.

With his contributions, Village Head Mua A Thi was honored to be awarded the First-class Labor Medal. Recently, he was also honored to receive the Outstanding Young Vietnamese Face award in 2025.

Sowing seeds of aspiration

Faced with the new requirements of education, teachers must not only impart knowledge but also arouse learning inspiration, creativity and the desire to contribute to students. For Ms. Nguyen Minh Hang - teacher at Le Van Tam Secondary School (Quang Ninh), each class is an opportunity to accompany, motivate and help students confidently discover their own abilities.

As a Literature teacher and also taking on the role of Head of the Team, Ms. Nguyen Minh Hang always finds ways to shorten the distance with students. The advantage of a young teacher helps her easily find "common frequencies" with students, thereby bringing music, art and experiential activities into the lesson, turning each lesson into a space to evoke emotions and nurture creative thinking.

The message I want to send to young people is very simple, "patriotism is action". Patriotism does not need to be something too far-fetched, but is the effort to study every day, is the pride in the land we live on, is the fact that we proactively update new knowledge to contribute to society" - Ms. Hang shared.
