Bac Ninh province has just held a meeting to review the progress of investment and construction of a number of university projects in the area south of Cau River, Bac Ninh province.
According to the latest report, the Hanoi University of Science and Technology project in Bac Ninh has an area of about 12.6 hectares in University Village I, in Vo Cuong ward and Tien Du commune.
To speed up the project implementation progress in the province, Hanoi University of Science and Technology recommends that the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province direct the organization and implementation of work related to investment preparation and implementation of compensation, site clearance, leveling, investment in technical infrastructure outside the fence and support the completion of 1/500 planning procedures, and hand over clean land to the school as soon as possible.
At the same time, it agreed to let the school coordinate with the Department of Construction and related units to deploy the work of preparing a detailed planning project at a scale of 1/500 for the 12.6-hectare land plot in University Village I, as a legal basis for implementing the next steps on land allocation, construction investment design...
Previously, the People's Council of Bac Ninh province issued a Resolution determining the expected support for the Hanoi University of Science and Technology project in Bac Ninh province with an estimated support capital of 120 billion VND.
Regarding the recommendations of Hanoi University of Science and Technology, Mr. Le Xuan Loi - Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province assigned the Department of Agriculture and Environment, Department of Construction, Department of Finance and relevant agencies and units to coordinate and guide to speed up project implementation procedures. Strive to start construction in the first quarter of 2026 at the latest.
