In 2026, the People's Police Political Academy will enroll 100 regular university targets.
This year, 8 People's Police academies and schools have 1,870 regular university targets for new training at the school. If adding 200 cooperation targets, sending training at non-core institutions, the total scale is 2,070, a decrease of 280 compared to 2025.
Similar to police schools, the Academy uses three enrollment methods, including direct admission; considering combining international foreign language certificates with the Ministry of Public Security's assessment exam; and combining high school graduation exam scores with this exam.
Last year, the benchmark score of the People's Police Academy of Politics ranged from 21.74 - 25.21. Females in the North had the highest entrance score with 25.21 points, followed by females in the South at 23.57. For male candidates, the admission scores in the North and South were 22.51 and 21.74 points respectively.
