Up to now, many universities in the social sciences have announced their admission benchmarks by considering high school graduation exam scores in 2024. Among them, the Journalism and Communications majors continue to maintain their scores. High standards, close to the absolute threshold.
At the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Hanoi National University, most of the school's majors in block C00 require over 27 points, or over 9 points/subject to be admitted.
Among them, the industry with the highest standard score is Public Relations block C00 (Literature, History, Geography), with 29.1 points, an average of 9.7 points/subject to pass. This is also the industry with the highest benchmark score in 2023 (28.78 in block C00).
The Academy of Journalism and Communication also announced benchmark scores for 32 training majors and majors in three methods: Based on graduation exam scores, academic transcripts, and combined admission (SAT, IELTS scores or equivalent).
With the method of considering high school graduation exam scores, the Academy of Journalism and Communication has two standard score scales of 30 and 40. On the 30-point scale, the multimedia communication industry gets the highest with 28.25 in the C15 combination (Language). Literature, Mathematics and Social Sciences), an average of 9.41 points per subject to pass.
Next is the Mass Communication industry, also in this complex, with 28.05 points.
The Party and state government construction industry got 24.68 points in the A16 group (Math, Literature and Natural Sciences), the lowest in this scale.
Other majors are almost no less than 25. At scale 40, the highest admission threshold is 38.12 in the History major, complex C19 (Literature, Citizenship Education and History). English language, combination D72 (Literature, Natural Sciences, English) is the lowest with 34.7 points.
At Hanoi University of Culture, the admission score according to the method of considering high school graduation exam scores ranges from 22.85-28.9 points. Among them, the journalism industry ranks first with a standard score of 28.9 points (C00 combination).
At the Diplomatic Academy, the benchmark scores of the C00 combination of all branches are at the highest level compared to the other groups in the same industry.
The international communications industry has a standard score of up to 29.05/30 points. This is the major with the second highest entrance score, after Chinese studies (combined standard score C00 is 29.2/30 points).
