The Ministry of Education and Training has just issued a decision on the input quality assurance threshold (floor score) for teacher training programs at the university level and preschool education at the college level in 2026 using the results of the high school graduation exam.
On that basis, pedagogical training schools nationwide have successively announced the benchmark scores for 2026.
Hanoi National University of Education announces the highest admission floor score in 2026 in the teacher training major group. Majors requiring 22 points or higher include Special Education, Mathematics Pedagogy taught in English, Literature Pedagogy, History Pedagogy, Biology Pedagogy. Except for Music Pedagogy and Fine Arts Pedagogy taking a floor score of 19, other teacher training majors all require candidates to have 20 - 21 points or higher to be considered for admission.
Most non-pedagogical majors have a floor score of 18-20. The sports training major, which is the first enrollment in this school year, has a floor score of 16.5.
The highest floor score for admission to Hanoi National University of Education 2 this year is 22 in the majors: Primary Education, Mathematics Pedagogy, Literature Pedagogy, History Pedagogy, English Pedagogy. The remaining majors also have a floor score of no less than 20 points on a 30-point scale.
In non-pedagogical majors, English Language and Chinese Language have the highest benchmark scores with 18/30 points, and the rest from 15-17 points.
With Ho Chi Minh City University of Education, teacher training majors have the highest floor score, from 19-22/30 points, according to high school graduation exam scores.
The majors of Mathematics Pedagogy, Physics Pedagogy, Chemistry Pedagogy, Literature Pedagogy, History Pedagogy, Geography Pedagogy have the highest floor scores (22 points). The lowest is Physical Education major (17 points).
Majors with high benchmark scores based on high school graduation exam scores are also majors with the highest benchmark scores in the combined specialized competency assessment method, with 22/30 points.
In the non-pedagogical major group, the school receives applications from 17-23 points and from 16-21 points respectively in two methods.
The floor score of Hanoi Capital University from the high school graduation exam scores for university entrance in 2026 for candidates in area 3 has the minimum score (not multiplied by coefficient) of all combinations including 3 exams/subjects on a 30-point scale, without adding points, regardless of the exam results of candidates studying the 2006 and 2018 programs as follows:
Teacher training programs for university levels are 20 points; specifically for the Physical Education training program, it is 19 points for the 3-cultural subject admission combination, other admission combinations are implemented according to the regulations of the current enrollment regulations.
The training program in the field of law is 20 points, the admission score for Math or Literature subjects is at least 6 points.
Other majors/training programs are 16 points.
The floor score of the University of Education - Vietnam National University, Hanoi for majors belonging to the teacher training group is 20 points.
For non-pedagogical majors including Educational Sciences, Psychology and Educational Psychology, the floor score is 19 on a 30-point scale for both methods of considering high school graduation exam scores and competency assessment (HSA) exam scores of Vietnam National University, Hanoi after conversion; not multiplied by coefficients and already including priority points (if any).
At the University of Education, Hue University, most teacher training majors have a common benchmark score of 20 points. Music Pedagogy and Fine Arts Pedagogy majors take a score of 19 points and require aptitude subject scores of 5 or higher.
