The decisions approving the contractor selection plan for the project to renovate and upgrade a series of schools have just been signed by the People's Committee of Dien Bien province in early May 2025.
In Dien Bien Phu City, there are projects: renovation, repair and upgrading Thanh Binh Secondary School with a total investment of over 13.5 billion VND; renovation, repair and upgrading of Kindergarten No. 2 in Pa Khoang commune with a total investment of over 13.5 billion VND; renovation and upgrading of Nam Thanh Kindergarten with a total investment of nearly 8.3 billion VND; renovation and upgrading of Son Ca Kindergarten with a total investment of nearly 10 billion VND.
In Dien Bien district, there are 2 projects including: renovating and upgrading the National Boarding School No. 2 of Na Tong commune with a total investment of over VND 13.1 billion; renovating and upgrading the Kindergarten No. 2 of Na Tong with a total investment of nearly VND 13.4 billion.
In Nam Po district, there are 4 projects including: renovating and upgrading Tan Phong Secondary School, Si Pa Phin commune with a total investment of over 13.4 billion VND; renovating and upgrading Na Co Primary School of Na Sa Primary School, total investment of over VND 13 billion; renovating and upgrading the Secondary School of Phin Ho Commune Secondary School with a total investment of over VND 12.8 billion; renovating and upgrading the Primary School of Na Banh Commune Primary School with a total investment of nearly 13 billion dong.
In addition, the Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities in Hoa Ngai commune, Muong Cha district has also been renovated and upgraded with a total investment of over 13.3 billion VND.
According to the People's Committee of Dien Bien province, all projects use local budget capital managed by the province and local budget capital managed by the district/city level. The synchronous and focused investment in educational institutions is expected to bring a better learning environment, contributing to improving the quality of comprehensive education in the province.
