STEM - Technology - AI - Robotics experience opportunity
On January 18, FPT Bac Giang Primary, Secondary and High School organized the STEM & Digital Technology Experience Day (OPEN STEM DAY 2026).
This is an open program with a scale of up to 4,000 participants, for the community, teachers, students, parents and all those who are passionate about STEM, technology, AI, Robotics to participate and experience.
Mr. Dinh Duc Hien - Executive Director of FPT Bac Giang Primary, Secondary and High School - said that this year's festival has the theme "Creating a green future". The goal is not only to protect the environment, but to educate students to develop sustainably in terms of knowledge, technology and social responsibility.

The school hopes that students will not only be good at technology, but also know how to use technology to create positive values for the community and the future" - Mr. Hien said.
Sharing at the festival, Mr. Bach Dang Khoa - Deputy Director of Bac Giang Department of Education and Training - said that one of the requirements of Resolution 71 is to invest in STEM education at a breakthrough level in many localities.
In Bac Giang, the Provincial People's Committee has approved the Project "Developing STEM/STEAM education in preschool and general education institutions in Bac Ninh province in the period 2025 - 2030, orientation to 2035".
The province strives to complete the framework of programs and guidance materials for teachers and students by 2030 to effectively implement STEM/STEAM education; 100% of schools at all levels in the province have STEM/STEAM Lab classrooms...
Mr. Khoa assessed that the festival is one of the steps to continue the journey of developing STEM education, and at the same time, set out the requirement that each teacher needs to continue to research the program, assign officials, teachers, and students to participate at different levels. Through this, teachers learn, apply, and bring good practices to their schools and students.
Conditions are different from place to place, but students' ideas in different regions are always opened up, never limited by a single area. Teachers' care will open up space for students to experience and not hesitate to "try their best" - Mr. Khoa said.
Gradually bring AI education into general education
Within the framework of the festival, the Education Conference: AI Capacity Framework for High School Students & Deployment Orientation took place.
Sharing at the conference, Prof. Dr. Le Anh Vinh - Director of the Vietnam Institute of Educational Sciences, Ministry of Education and Training (MOET) - said that, in the face of the strong impact of artificial intelligence, preparing AI capacity for future generations is important.
The Ministry of Education and Training has issued a framework for piloting artificial intelligence (AI) education for general education students, starting at the primary level, expected to be implemented from the beginning of 2026, then evaluated, completed and replicated.

Students will definitely use AI, but how to design it, how to teach it so that students can use it effectively is what needs to be raised" - Professor Vinh said.
Mr. Vinh believes that the deployment of AI in general education needs to be based on 3 main pillars including: A consistent policy framework to ensure data security ethics and long-term orientation; Comprehensive, flexible teaching and learning materials, suitable for classroom practice and regular updates; Human resources and finance, especially teacher training to convert technology into learning.
In the pilot phase, Prof. Dr. Le Anh Vinh said that three options were proposed: The first option is to integrate into subjects; The second option is to teach some independent topics; The third option is to organize experiential activities and clubs.
Currently, the guidance document of the Ministry of Education and Training has not specified the specific number of lessons. However, in my opinion, the design of the program, especially in the context of lower secondary schools organizing two sessions a day and possibly restructuring some contents, the issue of time is not difficult" - Mr. Vinh said.
