On January 6, speaking with a reporter from Lao Dong Newspaper, Mr. Le Van Thanh (residing in Trung Chinh Commune, Nong Cong District, Thanh Hoa Province) - the father of the female student who was beaten by a group of people - expressed his indignation because it has been more than 3 months since the incident in which his daughter was beaten and nearly 1 month since the police initiated the case and prosecuted the accused. However, the female students who were prosecuted have not yet been legally prosecuted and are still attending school as usual.

“I also don’t understand why the incident was so obvious, my child suffered 23% injuries, had to reserve his results and take a year off school. But the 6 female students who participated in beating my child are still going to school normally,” Mr. Thanh was indignant.
Also according to Mr. Thanh, due to waiting too long for the results of the handling, he recently sent a petition to the Thanh Hoa Department of Education and Training requesting that, based on the circular of the Ministry of Education and Training on handling violations against students, Nong Cong High School and Nong Cong 2 High School (where the students participated in the beating) come up with a handling direction that ensures objectivity, timeliness and deterrence for other cases.
According to the representative of the Nong Cong District Police, regarding the incident in which a group of female students participated in the beating of an 11th grade female student (Nong Cong 2 High School), after initiating the case, prosecuting the accused and completing the investigation, Nong Cong District Police will transfer the case to the Procuracy according to regulations.
A representative of the Thanh Hoa Province Department of Education and Training said that after the incident, the school held a meeting with the group of female students who beat up their friend and decided on disciplinary action. Currently, the school is still waiting for the results from the police or a request from the police before taking further action.
In the case of a female student being beaten by a gang and breaking her cervical vertebrae, on December 9, 2024, the Investigation Police Agency of Nong Cong District Police issued a decision to prosecute the case and prosecute 6 female students for "intentionally causing injury".
