At the opening ceremony held on September 5, nearly 9,000 new students of the National Economics University officially started their university journey in the school year celebrating 70 years of construction and development.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Duc Tho - Director of the National Economics University - said that 2026 is the time for the school to look back at the past journey, and at the same time open a new stage of development.

Representing nearly 9,000 new students at the opening ceremony, Pham Chiem Kiet Huy - a new student of the International Economics major, course 68 - shared his feelings on the first day stepping through the university gate.
The first day we stepped through the gates of the National Economics University (NEU) will definitely be a memory that we always remember: excited, bewildered but also full of aspirations" - Huy expressed.
