Latest salary table of primary school teachers
Circular 31/2026/TT-BGDĐT of the Ministry of Education and Training regulating codes, title appointments and salary rankings for teachers in public educational institutions takes effect from April 14, 2026.
The Circular stipulates that civil servants appointed to the title of primary school teacher specified above are subject to the corresponding salary scale issued together with Decree No. 204/2004/ND-CP, specifically as follows:
Grade III - Code V.07. 03. 29, the salary coefficient of civil servants type A1 is applied from salary coefficient 2.34 to salary coefficient 4.98;
Grade II - Code V.07. 03. 28, the salary coefficient of civil servants type A2, group A2. 2 is applied from salary coefficient 4.00 to salary coefficient 6.38;
Grade I - Code V.07. 03. 27, the salary coefficient of civil servants type A2, group A2. 1 is applied from salary coefficient 4.40 to salary coefficient 6.78.
Teachers' salaries are calculated according to the formula: Salary = Base salary (VND) x Salary coefficient
With a base salary of 2.34 million VND, the salary of primary school teachers of grade III ranges from 5.4 - 11.6 million VND/month. See more...
Ministry of Education and Training requests review and identification of violations in the case of high school learning without graduating from secondary school in Quang Tri
On April 20, information from the Department of Vocational Education and Continuing Education (GDNNGDTX), Ministry of Education and Training (MOET) said that it had issued an official dispatch to the Department of Education and Training of Quang Tri province responding to Official Dispatch No. 712/SGDĐT-QLCL dated February 27, 2026 of the Department of Education and Training of Quang Tri province related to the case of Mr. Vo Danh Thuan - Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFF) of Sen Ngu commune (Quang Tri province) - who was discovered to be enrolled in high school when he had not yet graduated from secondary school.
This move was made after Lao Dong Newspaper reflected on unusual signs in enrollment, training and degree issuance related to the case of Mr. Vo Danh Thuan.
According to the content of the official dispatch, previously the Department of Education and Training of Quang Tri province had a report and provided documents at the request of the Department of Vocational Education and Training. Ministry of Education and Training announces 12 hottest industry groups in 2025
According to the Ministry of Education and Training, the Business and Management industry group has the most students studying in 2025. For every 5 students, one chooses this industry group.
The above information was announced by the Ministry of Education and Training at the university enrollment information conference on the morning of April 20.
According to statistics from the Ministry of Education and Training, out of more than 681,000 university enrollment candidates, more than 146,000 students chose the Business Management industry group, accounting for 21%. However, compared to 2024, the rate of choosing this industry group decreased by 4%.
Next is the Technical Technology group with more than 72,500 enrolled students, accounting for 10.6%, an increase of more than 1% compared to last year. See more...
