According to statistics from the Ministry of Education and Training, out of more than 681,000 university enrollment candidates, more than 146,000 students chose the Business Management industry group, accounting for 21%. However, compared to 2024, the rate of choosing this industry group decreased by 4%.

Next is the Technical Technology group with more than 72,500 enrolled students, accounting for 10.6%, an increase of more than 1% compared to last year.
The Ministry of Education and Training assessed that there is a recovery in the strategic technology industry group, 44 industries in this group recruited 150,400 candidates, accounting for 22%.
In addition, teacher training majors increased sharply in benchmark scores and the number of applications for admission, and the enrollment rate in 2025.

Last year, universities enrolled nearly 760,000 students, the number of enrollment reached about 90%. Thus, out of 1.1 million high school graduates, the rate of university admission accounted for 59%.
The three methods with the most admitted candidates are considering high school graduation exam scores (50%), transcripts (29%), and combined consideration (15%).
However, according to the Ministry of Education and Training, admission based on high school academic results tends to decrease compared to 2024. Many methods do not have enrollment candidates.
