HCMC will recruit more than 71,000 students for public grade 10
The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training plans to announce enrollment quotas for each public high school in the next few days, affecting students' admission, especially in densely populated districts. Many parents and students hope that the enrollment quota will remain stable so that the admission score does not fluctuate much, helping students have more opportunities to enter the desired school.
It is expected that this year, about 78-80% of junior high school graduates will continue to study at public high schools, an increase of 65% compared to last year. The target will be allocated to each area to suit population density. Students who do not study at public high schools will have the option to attend continuing education centers, vocational schools, private schools or study abroad.
The 10th grade entrance exam took place on June 6-7 with three subjects: Math, Literature, Foreign Language.
