The Ministry of Education and Training announces detailed schedule for the 2025 high school graduation exam
The 2025 high school graduation exam will take place on June 25 - 26, 2025. The Ministry of Education and Training has issued guiding documents on organizing the exam, including regulations on exam questions according to the 2006 General Education Program and the new program.
Candidates studying in the 2018 General Education Program need to take four exams, including Math, Literature and two elective subjects. Literature exam in the form of an essay. The remaining subjects are in multiple-choice format with questions choosing the correct answer, answering the correct/false answer and answering short.

Candidates studying in the old program need to take the Literature, Math, Foreign Language exam, at least one of the two combined exams of Natural Sciences or Social Sciences. See more...

Group of students admitted directly to grade 10 in Hanoi
9th grade students are admitted directly if they are in one of the five groups: ethnic boarding school students, ethnic minority students according to the provisions of Decree 57/2017/ND-CP, students with disabilities, students who have won national prizes in competitions organized by the Ministry of Education and Training, and students who have won prizes in international competitions selected by the Minister of Education and Training.
Students or parents or guardians must have a permanent residence in Hanoi and can only be admitted directly to a public high school in the admission area according to the household registration. If students are qualified but do not want to be admitted directly, they must take the public 10th grade entrance exam.
The public 10th grade entrance exam in Hanoi takes place on June 7 - 8, 2025. Candidates must take three subjects including Math, Literature and Foreign Language to be admitted to non-professional public high schools. See more...
The Ministry of Education and Training talks about mandatory requirements for Grade I secondary school teachers
Sending a question to the Government Electronic Information Portal, Mr. N.T.H. (Yen Bai) is currently a senior junior high school teacher, hoping to know more about the conditions for considering promotion to Grade I junior high school teacher in June 2024.
The Ministry of Education and Training responded as follows: According to Circular 13/2024/TT-BGDDT, to be considered for promotion, teachers must have held the title of Grade II Secondary School Teacher (code V.07.07.0431) or equivalent for at least 6 years, up to the deadline for submitting documents.
The duration of holding the titles of Grade II Secondary School Teacher (code V.07.04.11) or Main Boarding Secondary School Teacher (code 15a.201) is also considered equivalent to the duration of holding the new Grade II Secondary School Teacher title.
