Parents and students worried about the news of temporary suspension of US visa interviews
A telegram from the US State Department on May 27 requested a temporary suspension of the new appointment for issuing international and academic exchange visas (F, M, J), causing many Vietnamese students and parents to worry. 12th graders like Hai Quan, 12th graders in District 1, Ho Chi Minh City are concerned about their study abroad plans being affected, while parents like Nguyen Thu Linh (Trang Bom District, Dong Nai Province) considering changing their children's study abroad direction to Europe.
However, according to Mr. Le Bao Thang - Director of OSI Vietnam Consulting Company, the temporary suspension of visa appointments may only be a technical update and tightening of documents, not a complete suspension. Some students are still interviewed according to the pre-booked schedule, and in cases of visa renewal, they are mainly required to add social network account information in the DS-160 application.

Management of extra teaching and learning activities after merging administrative units
Circular 29/2024 of the Ministry of Education and Training stipulates that the district People's Committee is responsible for managing tutoring and tutoring activities in the area, and at the same time directing the People's Committee of the commune to coordinate to inspect and supervise the legal, environmental and safe conditions. Disciplining female principal for violating ethics and lifestyle
The Inspection Committee of Quan Hoa District Party Committee (Thanh Hoa Province) has decided to issue a Party warning to Ms. Le Thi Hue - Principal of Trung Son Kindergarten for violating ethics, civilized lifestyle and violations in the management and use of the State budget.
Previously, many petitions denounced Ms. Hue for insulting teachers, violating ethical standards in the pedagogical environment and not transparent financial management. She was accused of creating fake records of caregivers to withdraw 12 million VND from the budget, arbitrarily taking the school's assets such as refrigerators and buckets for personal use.

Police investigate the case of parents beating students with a bleeding nose
On May 27, in Thinh My commune (Hung Nguyen, Nghe An), an incident occurred where a parent assaulted a student. After Nguyen Van T (class 7C, Hung Thinh Secondary School) got into a fight with Dinh Van T (class 5A), Dinh Van T's parents, Mr. Dinh Van Danh, went to the house to apologize and Nguyen Van T accepted.
However, at around 2:00 p.m. the same day, when Nguyen Van T took him to school, Mr. Danh blocked his way and beat him in the face, causing him to bleed from his nose and had to be hospitalized for treatment. The incident was filmed and spread on social media, causing public outrage, with images of injured students and threatening words from parents.
