Preschool teachers are allowed to retire early, without pension deductions
From January 1, 2026, the Law on Teachers officially takes effect. Compared to before, the new regulations are considered more flexible, suitable for the specific characteristics of the profession and each group of teachers.

The retirement age increase roadmap is stipulated in the 2019 Labor Code, applicable to workers in general (including teachers). If retiring at a normal age, from January 1, 2026, female teachers teaching in kindergartens will retire at 57 years old, however, according to the Law on Teachers, kindergarten teachers, if they wish, will be allowed to retire at the age of 52.

The rate of students taking the 10th grade public school entrance exam in Hanoi in 2026
On the evening of June 19, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training (GDĐT) announced exam scores and benchmark scores for 10th grade public high schools for the 2026-2027 school year.
To be considered for admission to the 10th grade of non-specialized public high schools, candidates take the three subjects Literature, Mathematics and Foreign Language in two days, June 30 and 31. 5. 10th grade specialized class benchmarks in Ho Chi Minh City fluctuate sharply, many subjects increase sharply in 2026
The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training (GDĐT) has announced the benchmark scores for specialized grade 10 in the 2026-2027 school year. Compared to the previous year, the benchmark score picture has a clear differentiation between schools.

At Tran Dai Nghia High School for the Gifted, most specialized subjects increased benchmark scores. The strongest increase was in Chemistry, from 30.25 to 36.5 points, an increase of 6.25 points.
