Candidates expect the 2026 high school exam to be reasonably differentiated
Candidates and teachers both hope that the 2026 high school graduation exam questions will closely follow the curriculum, have reasonable differentiation and accurately assess students' abilities. Due to the lack of sample questions from the Ministry of Education and Training, many students have to adjust their review methods and encounter difficulties in predicting the structure and difficulty of the questions.

Some 12th grade students believe that exam questions should limit mechanically memorized questions and increase questions related to practice, requiring analytical, synthesis and logical thinking skills. In addition, question types such as right-wrong with many propositions are considered quite difficult because they require solid knowledge and careful analysis of each detail.
According to teachers, not publishing sample exams has a positive aspect of reducing cramming, but also makes students worried when it is difficult to self-assess their abilities. Therefore, exam questions need to have clear and fair differentiation between exam codes, helping to accurately assess candidates' abilities and support universities in selecting suitable students; at the same time, many schools are classifying review classes according to abilities to help students prepare better for the exam. After the supplementary teacher recruitment in Ho Chi Minh City, many subjects only recruited a few people
The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training (GDĐT) has just announced the decision to recognize the results of admission in the second phase of teacher recruitment in the 2025-2026 school year.
The results showed that 686/4,852 candidates passed the exam, while the recruitment demand is more than 1,400 teachers. Thus, after this supplementary recruitment, Ho Chi Minh City still lacks more than 700 teachers in many subjects.
According to statistics, among the 686 candidates admitted in phase 2, many subjects have a very low number of admitted students compared to the demand. See more...

Kindergarten teachers hope to have their working hours calculated correctly and fully
The Ministry of Education and Training issued Circular 11/2026/TT-BGDDT with many new points such as reducing 30 minutes of direct teaching per day and stipulating a total working time of 40 hours/week, clearly separating class time from other tasks such as preparing lessons, picking up and dropping off children and professional activities. Many preschool teachers support it because they believe that the regulation helps them have more time for themselves and their families.

However, teachers are also concerned that it will be difficult to apply in practice, due to the specific nature of work that often lasts from early morning to late at night to take care of and wait for parents to pick up children. Therefore, some teachers believe that if the regulations have been issued, they need to be implemented seriously and transparently to ensure fairness between teachers in the same facility.
In addition, the regulation of reducing 5 hours of teaching per week for teachers raising children under 12 months old is considered very practical, helping to reduce pressure and create conditions for them to take care of young children. Many teachers expect the new regulations to be implemented synchronously soon, contributing to ensuring professional health and creating motivation for teachers to stick with the industry for a long time.
