Principal resigns after teacher punishes student for self-injecting needle
On May 15, leaders of Ben Cat Ward People's Committee (HCMC) said that the ward will have an official report to send to city leaders and relevant departments and agencies on personnel work at Luong The Vinh Primary School.
Ben Cat Ward People's Committee has decided to dismiss Ms. Nguyen Thi My Hanh from the position of Principal of Luong The Vinh Primary School. Currently, the ward is carrying out personnel work to appoint a new principal of the school.

Talking to reporters, Ms. Nguyen Thi My Hanh said that she had proactively resigned from the position of Principal and requested to transfer to another job.
According to Ms. Hanh, in a short time, the school continuously experienced incidents that worried parents. According to the project of Dien Bien Department of Education and Training, after arranging and establishing 15 boarding schools in border communes, the whole province has 448 schools and 1,082 school sites.
