Students eagerly await the 2026 university admission method
Many boarding students accept staying up early and traveling nearly 30km to school without renting a room
Many international students in Hanoi and neighboring areas experience life with the rhythm of waking up at 5:30 am, traveling dozens of kilometers per day to go to school and return home in the afternoon. They chose this option to save on rental costs or leave it close to their family, even though they have to face long travel, traffic jams, and harsh weather such as wind or cold every day.

Students share that traveling a lot helps them practice discipline, know how to arrange time reasonably and have motivation to study thanks to the support and care of their families. Although inconvenient, the feeling of being able to go home, sleep in a familiar space, and eat rice cooked by parents still creates more comfort and peace of mind than renting a room near the school.
Universities in Hanoi are also adjusting their planning, moving most of their full-time students out of the inner city to reduce infrastructure and population pressure, creating new development space like the Hoa Lac university urban area. Moving to become an international student is still popular and a choice of many young people due to its spiritual and financial benefits. See more...
Many schools in Ho Chi Minh City lack rooms and degraded infrastructure
In Ho Chi Minh City, many areas such as Binh Duong (old) are facing serious overload of schools. Many schools have to use temporary corrugated iron classrooms, cramped classrooms, and lack of equipment, leading to students crowded in suffocating and unsafe spaces. Many schools still have to take advantage of the headquarters of communes and wards after the merger to temporarily build classrooms to reduce pressure on the number of students, while projects to build new schools are still being accelerated.

Provinces such as Binh Duong and Di An (old) have begun to build new and renovate infrastructure, but the progress is still slow, not meeting the learning needs of tens of thousands of students in a timely manner. Old facilities, lack of classrooms, too many classrooms, and in some places, an average of more than 50 students/class cause difficulties in teaching and ensuring safety. Local authorities are making efforts to move tables and chairs, speed up construction progress, and expand schools to improve the situation in the coming time. See more...
