Important notes before the deadline for registering wishes

The Ministry of Education and Training allows candidates to register and adjust their university admission wishes until 5:00 p.m. on July 28. Experts recommend that candidates should register for about 3 schools, each school has 2-3 wishes in the same field, avoiding choosing a major that is not related to each other because it can easily lead to wrong schooling.
Dr. Mai Duc Toan and MSc. Cu Xuan Tien recommend that candidates choose a major based on their interests, strengths, learning ability, financial conditions and job opportunities, and should not follow "hot industry" or benchmark scores. studying the right major will create motivation and increase opportunities for long-term career development.
According to experts such as Dr. Nguyen Trung Nhan and MSc. Pham Thai Son, candidates should register about 10 wishes and divide them into 3 groups: dream (slightly exceeding the exam scores), moderate (equivalent scores) and safe (lower scores) to increase their chances of being admitted and avoid unwanted risks to the industry. Converting university admission scores: Parents of students are confused, experts worry about unfairness
This year, the conversion of equivalent benchmark scores between admission methods is confusing for candidates because each school applies different calculation methods. Some schools publicly announced the conversion formula, some schools only gave the final results, making the scoreboard an "argy", while the contestants were like "the ones who were lost".

In a conversation with Dr. Hoang Ngoc Vinh - former head of the Department of Vocational Education, Ministry of Education and Training, he stated that the lack of standardization, transparency and control in the conversion of scores is a formula for creating injustice. He proposed that the Ministry of Education and Training should establish a unified regulatory framework and a centralized information portal to make it easier for candidates to look up and compare, ensuring fair access in enrollment.
Dr. Hoang Ngoc Vinh recommends that candidates need to clearly know the strongest combination, understand the conversion method of each school, prioritize the favorite industry and have additional safety options. At the same time, candidates should proactively contact the school, find information to avoid being "infected" and losing the opportunity to be admitted in this year's turbulent admission period.
