Hanoi University of Science and Technology announces enrollment plan for 2026
Hanoi University of Science and Technology plans to enroll about 9,880 students in 2026 through 3 methods: talent admission, thinking assessment test scores (TSA) and high school graduation exam scores. The talent admission method includes direct admission according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training, based on competency records combined with interviews, and admission according to international certificates such as SAT, ACT, A-Level, AP, IB with the condition of an average score of grades 10-12 and above.
The admission method based on competency records requires an average score of at least 8 high school subjects and meets conditions such as winning the national excellent student award, national science and technology competition, Road to Olympia or students majoring in natural subjects and foreign languages. The competency profile score is calculated based on thinking points, achievements and reward points, up to a maximum of 100 points. Admission method based on exam scores for thinking assessment and high school graduation will keep the admission subject combinations the same as previous years (11 combinations).
For an English training program or an international affiliated program, candidates need to have a VSTEP English certificate at level B1 or B2, IELTS equivalent or high school English exam score at the prescribed level. 4,693 students in Hanoi violate not wearing helmets
According to statistics from the Traffic Police Department of Hanoi City Police, from January 1 to September 20, 2025, the authorities handled 26,529 violations related to wearing helmets, with a total estimated fine of more than 15.6 billion VND, and temporarily detained more than 3,000 vehicles.
Of which, there were 4,693 cases of students (accounting for 17.6%) and 729 cases of parents (accounting for 2.7%) being handled.
