Establishing 5 new public high schools in Ho Chi Minh City
Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee has just decided to establish 5 more public high schools directly under the Department of Education and Training, starting 10th grade enrollment from the 2026-2027 school year.
According to the newly issued decisions, the 5 new schools include: TH, THCS and THPT Le Thi Rieng; THPT Phan Van Hon; THPT Thoai Ngoc Hau; THPT Ha Huy Tap and THPT Vo Nguyen Giap.
In which, Le Thi Rieng Primary, Secondary and High School located at No. 1 Le Thi Rieng, Thoi An ward (old District 12 People's Committee headquarters), enrolls 450 10th grade targets for the 2026-2027 school year.
Phan Van Hon High School is located in the 38ha resettlement area, Dong Hung Thuan ward, enrolling 810 10th grade targets. See more...
Vietnam - Russia expand cooperation in education, science and technology
On May 22nd and 23rd, at the University of Transport (Hanoi), the Ministry of Education and Training (MOET) in coordination with relevant agencies and units organized a series of events "Third Conference of Rectors of Vietnamese Universities - Russian Federation" and "Russian Federation Higher Education Day".
Speaking at the conference, Politburo Member, Standing Deputy Prime Minister Pham Gia Tuc affirmed that over the past decades, the Russian Federation and formerly the Soviet Union have supported Vietnam in training tens of thousands of scientific, technical cadres, experts and high-level managers. Notes when taking the 10th grade entrance exam to the High School for the Gifted in Ho Chi Minh City
High School for the Gifted - Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City said that the 10th grade entrance exam for the 2026-2027 school year of the school has 4,707 registered candidates.
Meanwhile, the school's 10th grade enrollment quota is stable at 595 students. Thus, the average competition ratio is about 1/8, an increase compared to 1/6 in 2025.
When taking the exam, candidates must present their exam notification along with their ID card or personal papers with photos attached before entering the exam room. The exam council has the right not to allow candidates to take the exam if they do not bring enough documents as prescribed. In case of losing all personal papers, candidates need to bring the exam notification directly to the exam council room at the exam site for guidance. See more...

Many educational institutions across the country have announced enrollment for Veterinary Medicine in 2026 with diverse combinations and admission methods for candidates.
