The deployment of smart classrooms in Ha Tinh has caused much debate
According to reports, Nguyen Du Primary School has implemented smart classrooms in grades 1 and 2 on the voluntary basis of parents. In this smart classroom, each student must pay nearly 2 million VND for installing shared equipment and must equip themselves with a tablet worth 8.5 million VND.
For parents who do not register their children for smart classes, the school still teaches the children according to the normal class program as before.
Regarding the above incident, social networks have debated whether or not to implement smart classrooms. Supporters believe that this is a new model to help students access information technology early, helping children be interested in learning because it increases interactivity.

10th grade enrollment in Ho Chi Minh City will have 78% of candidates passing the entrance exam
This year, Ho Chi Minh City continues to apply two enrollment methods including entrance exams and admission consideration. Most students participate in the entrance exam to 10th grade public schools in the form of entrance exams; some specialized schools enroll according to their own plans.

Candidates take 3 compulsory subjects including: Math, Literature and Foreign Language. In which, Math and Literature take essay exams in 120 minutes, Foreign Language takes exams in 90 minutes. Students who register for specialized or integrated classes will take additional subjects accordingly.
According to the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training (GDĐT), in the 2026-2027 school year, the whole city has more than 151,000 students registered to take the 10th grade public school entrance exam, while the total enrollment target is more than 180,000 students. Removing obstacles in paying salaries for 234 teachers and contract employees in Nghe An
On May 9, information from the People's Committee of Nghe An province said that Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Thai Van Thanh has just signed and issued Official Dispatch No. 4941/UBND-TH on paying salaries to contract workers at the district level (old), thereby removing difficulties for 234 teachers and contract employees who have not received salaries for many months due to mechanism problems.

According to the official dispatch, the Provincial People's Committee assigns communes and wards to balance the funding for tuition fee compensation assigned in 2026 to pay salaries to contract workers according to the 2025 benefit level, calculated from January 1, 2026 until the Provincial People's Council assigns contract targets according to Decree No. 111/2022/ND-CP or other directions from the Provincial People's Committee.
