On May 9, Mr. Tran Van Luong - Head of the Propaganda and Social Work Department of the Ha Tinh Provincial Fatherland Front Committee said that the Fatherland Front system and socio-political organizations of Ha Tinh province have synchronously and effectively implemented many practical projects and tasks to welcome the 11th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front for the 2026 - 2031 term.
Accordingly, after heavy rain accompanied by thunderstorms occurred on May 3, causing thousands of hectares of rice of people in many communes and wards to fall, with the risk of crop failure. Immediately after that, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ha Tinh province issued a document requesting the Fatherland Front at all levels and socio-political organizations to urgently deploy activities to support people to harvest fallen rice.

In localities with houses with roofs blown off or damaged by storms such as Cam Trung and Son Tien communes, the Fatherland Front Committees at all levels and socio-political organizations have mobilized members to help people repair and re-roof their houses.
In which, priority is given to supporting and helping policy families, poor households, near-poor households, lonely households, and households lacking labor.
These practical actions of the Fatherland Front system at all levels and socio-political organizations have helped people reduce damage caused by natural disasters and soon stabilize their lives.
According to Mr. Tran Van Luong - Head of the Propaganda and Social Work Department of the Ha Tinh Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, in the past time, the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations at all levels in Ha Tinh have registered 1,361 projects and tasks with a total value of more than 110.7 billion VND associated with emulation movements, campaigns, activities for the poor and social security.
In which, renovating over 100 propaganda panel clusters; renovating 50 Party flag and national flag roads; supporting poverty reduction livelihood models, health insurance cards, supporting poor students; organizing festivals, sports tournaments, environmental sanitation, planting and caring for green trees, flower roads; renovating, maintaining, and upgrading traffic roads; renovating 15.7 km of lighting power lines; launching 55 economic models and cooperative groups in the fields of agriculture, aquaculture, animal husbandry, and craft villages...
From February 2 - 12, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee - the Provincial "For the Poor" Fund Mobilization Board mobilized resources, coordinated with communes and wards to organize the simultaneous commencement of 254 houses for poor households, near-poor households, and policy households in difficult circumstances affected by natural disasters.
In which, the Provincial Fund "For the Poor" Mobilization Committee supported 216 houses worth 15.1 billion VND; the Fatherland Front Committee at the commune level mobilized, supported, and built 38 new houses worth more than 2.4 billion VND; repaired 96 houses with an amount of more than 1.6 billion VND.
In addition to starting housing construction, the Fatherland Front at all levels has awarded support for 515 gifts worth over 650 million VND, awarded 137 livelihood models worth nearly 2.5 billion VND, and awarded 159 health insurance and social insurance cards with an amount of over 147 million VND.
Directing the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations, member organizations to simultaneously launch campaigns to build new rural areas, civilized urban areas, and complete environmental sanitation in 69/69 communes and wards.
Accordingly, nearly 112,000 union members, association members and people have been mobilized to clear the environment, dredge canals and ditches, prune green fences on roads, collect and treat nearly 315 tons of garbage.

In addition, units deploy many practical and meaningful activities such as: renovating mixed gardens, environmental sanitation, building power lighting lines, launching economic models, donating livelihood models...
Mr. Thai Ngoc Hai - Standing Vice Chairman of the Ha Tinh Provincial Fatherland Front Committee affirmed that, implementing the new model, the Ha Tinh Provincial Fatherland Front Committee has well promoted its functions and tasks.
From there, promoting the combined strength of the forces, they have effectively implemented emulation movements, social security programs, new rural construction, contributing to socio-economic development in the area.
