Hanoi Department of Education and Training has just sent a document to the People's Committees of communes and wards; educational institutions in the city on supporting and guiding parents to implement the review of enrollment data at the beginning of the 2026-2027 school year.
Accordingly, the People's Committees of communes and wards direct educational institutions to continue reviewing data, accurately updating addresses according to coordinates to synchronize with the enrollment system, serving online enrollment using GIS maps.
At the same time, educational institutions urgently coordinate with commune and ward police in issuing level 2 ID cards and electronic identification cards for 9th grade students.
Units assign personnel to receive and handle problems; strengthen inspection and supervision of data review and updates at educational institutions.

Localities promote propaganda for officials, teachers, and parents to use the online enrollment system integrating GIS maps, apply AI; guide parents to check and confirm information on the system.
For children entering kindergarten in grades 3-5 years old, parents fully declare information on the enrollment portal.
In case children enter grade 1 without going to kindergarten, and grade 5 students do not study at educational institutions in the city but reside in the locality, the People's Committee of communes and wards coordinates with the police to review data, especially the "current residence" information on VNeID of parents.
Then, update the list to the first-level enrollment system, notify parents to check and confirm information on the City's first-level enrollment portal at https://tsdaucap. hanoi. edu. vn.
Educational institutions update information introducing and assigning officials to support parents; promptly adjust residence data according to VNeID with evidence. At the same time, provide student codes, guidance on reviewing and confirming information to serve enrollment registration.
For free 9th grade students, secondary schools need to support data entry and student code issuance, ensuring the rights of students when registering and enrolling.
Parents need to proactively access the enrollment portal to check and confirm information within the prescribed time; coordinate adjustments if there are deviations and provide full supporting documents when there are changes in information compared to current residence data on VNeID.
In case parents do not confirm data on time, the system will use existing information to serve enrollment. After the prescribed time, the adjustment of residence information will not be resolved, except in special cases.
According to the plan, the entire data review work must be completed before March 31, as a basis for organizing transparent and effective entrance exams in the 2026-2027 school year.
